Charge controller for compact chargers and dispensers in partnership with NXP
What is EcoG SEOC® 3500?
The SEOC is a powerful and future-proof Supply Equipment Outlet Controller - ideal for applications in DC compact chargers or distributed DC dispensers in combination with powerblock. This is the first fully integrated i.MX93 design of our partner NXP, offering advanced security, real-time processing, and application capabilities - all at minimal cost and maximum efficiency. Full flexibility to support both CCS and MCS with one controller.
MCS and CCS parallel charging
With SEOC charger manufacturers can rely on one single controller to unlock combined MCS and CCS, supporting for parallel MCS and CCS charging. In combination with EcoG OS, the controller is field-proven with 19BASE-T1S and ISO15118-20.
Why is it important?
The new solution enables charging with power over 1MW (up to 3MW) and includes a new connector type as well as protocol adjustments, unlocking Mega-Watt Charging of commercial fleets and future-proofing charging infrastructure you put into the ground today.
Distributed Charging Architecture
Who is Dover Fueling Solutions?
Dover Fueling Solutions® (DFS), a part of Dover Corporation and a leading global provider of advanced customer-focused technologies, services and solutions in the fuel and convenience retail industries, announces the launch of Wayne PWR™ DC fast charger (Wayne PWR™). This new electric vehicle charger (EVC) addresses critical market gaps in reliability and durability while offering an unmatched customer experience.
What are Wayne PWR DC Fast Chargers?
Designed and manufactured in Austin, TX, for the US market, Wayne PWR™ is National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) compliant and built to the highest standard of quality. The EVC is backed by DFS’s nationwide Wayne® approved partner service network, offering remote diagnostics, proactive monitoring, and heartbeat checks to ensure maximum uptime and quick maintenance. Backed by EcoG Universal Core inside of the Wayne chargers, interoperability with any EV on the road is guaranteed.
Why is it important?
“One of the biggest challenges in the EV charging industry is reliability,” said Chad Bass, Director of Product Management for EV Charging at DFS. “Unlike competitors who white-label EVCs through partners, we’ve developed and are manufacturing Wayne PWR™ right here in Austin. This direct control over production ensures that our EVC meets the highest standards of reliability.”
Compact wallbox charge controller in partnership with NXP
What is EcoG SEIC® 3500 for DC wallboxes?
The SEIC - Supply Equipment Integrated Controller - is ideal for applications in DC wallboxes where space is limited, yet high performance is essential. This is the first fully integrated i.MX93 design of our partner NXP, offering advanced security, real-time processing, and application capabilities - all at minimal cost and maximum efficiency. With EcoG OS, it supports ISO 15118-20 and bidirectional charging, making it an ideal choice for the next generation of integrated charging infrastructure.
ISO15118-2 and ISO15118-20 out of the box
With SEIC charger manufacturers can rely on a rigurously tested Operating System, EcoG OS, which is proven interoperable and functional in the field with those EVs already supporting bidirectional powerflow with ISO15118.
Why is it important?
The new solution enables the launch of truly interoperable, bidirectional wallboxes - unlocking the full flexibility of millions of batteries on wheels.
Rolling out ISO15118-2/-20 in wallboxes and distributed architectures
What is Bi-directional Charging (BiDi)?
Vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology is a game changer in charging infrastructure. Wheeled energy storage devices on the move already scale up to 1% of the overall electrical storage capacity in the U.S. grid. One BEV, for example, can temporarily supply a home for up to a week.
What is EcoG doing?
EcoG has driven forward the implementation guide of the ISO 15118-20 standard in CharIN together with the automotive and charging infrastructure industry. The technology with the above ISO standard is proven to be working (see picture for CharIn Testival for bidirectional charging in 2025) - both in DC wallbox solutions and powerblock-dispenser architectures. Partnering with the car industry and market leaders, such as TheMobilityHouse, EcoG ensures compatibility of chargers with any EV with bidirectional charging capability.
Why is it important?
Heat pumps and electric cars are growing in popularity, posing challenges for the power grid. Bi-directional charging allows electric vehicles to store and redistribute energy, aiding grid stability during peak demand.
Bi-directional-capable vehicles, such as those from VW, BMW and Mercedes, are already hitting the market. Now, regulatory processes need to be fast-tracked to make bi-directional charging ready for roll-out to the mass market.
